With almost a decade of customer service under her belt, Brianna joined the Serenity team in 2022. “There are so many things I truly love and enjoy about my job. I get to work around some of the most amazing therapists and estheticians around, and our front desk crew is amazing. I take pride in working for such a beautiful and relaxing spa, and will probably work here until I’m old and grey”. When Brianna isn’t at work, she enjoys taking walks with her son, indulging in reality television, and relaxing with a glass of wine.

Diamond has over a decade of experience in customer service and two years of experience in the spa industry. She is passionate about training and teaching and believes in speaking love into others, uplifting and empowering those around her. Diamond is a dedicated animal lover, sharing her home with a 4-year-old Cane Corso named Whiskey Mae and a rescue kitty named Artemis June. Alexis is a skilled massage therapist who graduated from the Cortiva Institute. With a focus on specialized techniques such as intraoral massage, cupping/gua sha methods, and myofascial release, Alexis brings a unique and effective approach to her practice. Alexis finds joy in utilizing cups and tools to release tight muscles, making her treatments both therapeutic and relaxing. Her favorite part of the job is witnessing the improvement and results her clients experience after each session. Beyond the massage table, Alexis has a diverse background. She holds a BS in Archaeology and worked in the field for several years, showcasing her passion for exploration and discovery. She’s passionate about advanced, results-based treatments and stacking modalities, and is committed to building lasting relationships with her clients and making their skin dreams come true! In her free time, Chelsea enjoys hiking around the PNW, playing and listening to music, and spending time with her family and pup.

Christina Zylawski, LE

Christina recently graduated with her Esthetics Certificate from Aveda Art and Sciences Institute. She feels that Serenity is as much a family as we are a team, and appreciates the care for holistic health and well-being of clients as well as staff. ”Serenity is a welcoming environment that is extremely empowering to work for. I love being able to secure relaxing and recharging experiences for our clients that they may not be able to have in their day-to-day lives.” Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends, rockhounding and beach combing, and photography. She always enjoys opportunities to experience something new!

Darren Rapp, LMT

Darren has been practicing massage therapy since graduating from Everest College in 2009. He was originally trained as a spa specialist, with knowledge in aromatherapy, body product formulation, spa modalities, and menu curation. Over time, he’s worked in every sector of massage therapy and changed his specialty to medical massage. Now, he focuses on injury treatment, functional movement, and client education. Being able to assist people on their wellness journey and help them improve their quality of life brings Darren joy. He finds meaning in having the opportunity to help clients regain control of their lives after a serious injury and seeing them realize they have a way to move forward. Darren’s favorite part of Serenity is his coworkers and how they all work together as a family to lift each other up. When he’s not working, Darren is continuing his education in healthcare, playing the violin, or enjoying time with his cats and husband.

Davida is a graduate of Clover Park Technical College, and specializes in facials, peels and body treatments. Her favorite type of treatment to perform is waxing, due to the instantaneous and satisfying results! She loves making people feel comfortable, confident and happy in the skin they live in. Elise Kennedy has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013. She specializes in gua-sha, cupping and intra-oral massage. Elise strives to consistently give quality massage that meets the needs of her clients, whether physical or emotional, she enjoys helping to soothe and relax both the body and mind. The atmosphere in the spa is Elise's favorite aspect of working at Serenity and says, "It's truly a treat just to walk in the doors, it makes your whole mood shift for the better." Emily is a licensed Esthetician with a passion for enhancing natural beauty. She graduated from Evergreen Beauty College in Renton, WA, and specializes in custom facials and hair removal with a focus on Brazilian waxing. For Emily, the most gratifying part of her job is instilling confidence in others. She finds joy in making her clients feel comfortable and assured in their own skin, reflecting her commitment to enhancing self-esteem through esthetic services. A lover of adventure, she enjoys snowboarding and chasing sunsets, capturing the essence of beauty in every moment. In addition to her professional pursuits, Emily is a lifelong learner, delving into holistic remedies for the body, skin, and hair.

Isabelle Loisel, LMT

Isabelle graduated from the Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics i n 2021, specializing in Deep tissue and relaxation massage. She loves helping people to feel their best. Her hobbies include oil painting, foraging for herbs, making candles and herbal tinctures.

Joanne Lopez, LMT

Joanne graduated from the Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage and specializes in Deep Tissue massage, focusing on treating issues such as low back pain, hip pain, and headaches. Her favorite part of being a massage therapist is giving people relief from their pain and tension, and hearing them say “I feel like a new person!” at the end of a session. Even animals appreciate her massage skills! They run to her for back and neck rubs as soon as she walks through the door. Joanne encourages our guests to prioritize movement, as movement and strength are key to keeping your muscles functioning. When she’s not at the spa, Joanne enjoys weightlifting, painting, reading, crocheting, and going to concerts with her daughter.

Kayla Cameron, LE

Kayla graduated from The Euro Institute of Skin Care and specializes in chemical peels, dermaplaning, and facial infusions. Her greatest joy at the spa comes from helping others look and feel their best while providing education for maintaining healthy skin. Kayla also shares a pro tip for maintaining radiant skin: "Always add a facial oil to your moisturizer!" When she's not at the spa, Kayla embraces the joys of sailing, hiking, and anything that gets her out on the water. Her favorite quote, "The greatest gift you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return," reflects her belief in the power of love and positive connections.

Kelly Soran, LMT

Kelly has been a massage therapist for over 16 years specializing in Hot Stone, Trigger Point Therapy and Prenatal Massage. Her favorite part of her job is being present with each guest. When Kelly is not at work, she loves foraging, making Kombucha and urban hiking. She even walks the Narrows Bridge almost daily.

Lorie Campbell, LMT

Lorie graduated from The Lauterstein Conway School of Massage, in her hometown of Austin, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health, from Texas Christian University in Ft.Worth and a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis on Multicultural Studies and Learning Disabilities from The University of Texas, in Austin. After years of a successful teaching and coaching career in Texas, she decided to retire and move to the PNW and pursue her second passion (massage). She now calls Tacoma home. She has an integrative holistic approach to bodywork and views it as both; a science and an art. Her current areas of areas of specialization include; Swedish Massage, Body Mobilization Techniques, Sports Massage, Deep Massage: The Lauterstein Method, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping and Integrative Thai Techniques for the massage table.

She is a lifelong learner and educator and loves the outdoors, movement, live music, excellent food, and international travel. She plans to teach massage and offer continuing education courses in the near future.

Massage Therapist and Master Esthetician, Maddie Franco, will leave you glowing inside and out. Her passion for esthetics started when she was a teenager and has grown into her career. She obtained her massage license through Everest College and her esthetics licenses through Salon Professional Academy and the Washington Laser Institute. Maddie enjoys being a part of Serenity because it allows her an opportunity to empower women and make them feel beautiful. Her favorite service to provide is a Brazilian Wax. While scary to some, Maddie is a veteran esthetician and can be trusted to provide you with a relaxing environment and excellent results. In her free time outside of the spa you can catch her doing yoga, hanging with her kitties or taking a relaxing walk.

Natalie King, LE

Natalie is motivated by helping people find inner peace through skincare. After experiencing acne in her own childhood, Natalie went on to graduate from Summit Salon Academy, and is a Licensed Esthetician. When asked what she loves about her job, she passionately says “everything”. She focuses on building relationships with her clients, helping them understand why and how their skin behaves the way it does, and developing a long-term plan for effective skincare. 

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys cooking with her husband and nerd-ing out over Star Wars.

Nichelle Hollman, LMT

Nichelle has been practicing massage therapy since 2019, having received her license in the state of South Carolina at Southeastern College. Robin has been a Master Esthetician for over 15 years. She graduated from Euro Institute of Skin Care and continued her training at the Washington Laser Institute. Robin specializes in Microneedling, anti-aging modalities and problematic skin. She loves providing a results oriented, relaxing and fun experience, while connecting with her clients and building a custom skin care regime for them. Outside of the spa, you can find Robin hiking, camping, boating or singing. And she never forgets to stop and smell the flowers.

Solveig was licensed at Alexanders School of Natural Therapeutics, and now has 15 years of experience under her belt. She specializes in Swedish trigger point, Thai massage and Kulua medical massage, and loves meeting new clients and building long-term relationships. Outside the spa, Solveig enjoys interior design and gardening.

Talia is a graduate of Summit Salon Academy, and most enjoys customizing facials to her clients’ needs. She is passionate about connecting with people, and helping them relax and feel beautiful through her work. In her spare time, Talia enjoys reading, reflection and quality time.

Hannah has a unique blend of experience and a deep appreciation for the serene and tranquil. Previously immersed in the holistic ambiance of a yoga studio, Hannah developed a keen understanding of creating an atmosphere of calmness and harmony. She cherishes the art of building connections with guests, recognizing the importance of cultivating a warm and welcoming environment.

When she’s not at Serenity Spa, Hannah can be found embarking on invigorating hikes, diving into the pages of a captivating book, or engaging in the mindful practice of yoga, Hannah wholeheartedly embraces the elements that contribute to a balanced and harmonious life.

Hil is a trans fiber artist who has called Tacoma home since 2019. With a background in customer service and community healing practices, Hil loves Serenity’s positive work environment and commitment to their practitioners and clientele.

India received her Bachelor’s in Business Management from Northwest University and specializes in developing relationships and gaining product knowledge. She loves all things skincare, facials, and her 10-step skincare routine, reflecting her commitment to self-care. When she’s not at the spa, India and her husband embark on off-road adventures, blending travel with the thrill of exploration. She also enjoys cozy moments at home watching movies with her three dogs. Her favorite quote by Sara Rian embodies the love she has for her sweet daughter who left this earth far too early: "And if I must love you at this new distance, I will love you so fiercely it will be felt in every universe that lies between us”.

Isiah

Isiah is new to the spa industry, and loves being surrounded by others who also have a passion for being of service to the community! Isiah is certified in reiki energy healing, and loves astrology and creating art.
